Help, I've heard of this before but never had to deal with it so I have no idea what to do.
I'm recieving these return e-mails from recipients I've never heard of, from my domain but I never set up these email accounts so the email has some generic name then my domain at the end like I set it up and sent it. The return message show typical spam, like "buy this stock it's low" and one came in a foreign language. Both from two different mail addresses I didn't set up but with my domain name at the end. What should I do?

Thanks,
Cal

If the email addresses @yourdomain don't exist (and even if they DO exist), this is most likely just spoofing of your domain name. Spammers create emails with fake return addresses, using real domains to make them seem more legit.

If you search these forums on "SPF", you'll find many threads where this is discussed. The "SPF" search term is because that's an uncommon letter combination that only appears in threads about this topic of domain spoofing.

It is common practice to use others domain names when sending spam. The reject messages should include attachment of the original mail that was rejected. Examine the headers to ensure that the mail is not originating on your server. If it is originating elsewhere, you do not need to worry.
