Hi,
I have been hacked before and because I know nothing about hacking I had the hardest time to bring things back to the way they were..almost. Why doesn't lunarpages give us something to scan our sites with? Search for "shells" or scripts that may be harmful. I know that it already offers a wide range of free software but I think the one program it can really benefit from is website scanning..it will minimize hacking attempts and make things easier for us laymen.

What do you think? Roll

If you have your own dedicated server, I have a tool that can do this for you.

Would rkhunter do this well enough?

Code: (Run at SSH Shell)
rkhunter -c --skip-keypress

We can provide you with a script to scan for common shell scrips upon your request.

That's cool. How can I get that script? I have 4 sites I'd like to check out ( all my client's sites are with lunar of course)

You'll need to email dedicated@lunarpages.com with request. Please include your account username and the last 4 digits of your credit card for the account ownership verification.
