Hi,

Someone got into my site again, and I've been trying to clean up the mess. One odd problem that I have no idea how to deal with is an inability to empty the trash in the cpanel file manager. I've tried to check permissions and such, but can't see what might be keeping me from doing this. Can anyone give me a clue?

Thanks,
Liza

Hi Liza, usually you can just click on the trash can to clear your trash, what happens when you do that?  If you still get a few files remaining or showing in there, will need to contact support, so they can clear them out for you.

 Doh

Oh, dopey me! Guess I've been too focused for too long trying to clean this up. I made an incredibly stupid mistake -- just clicked the word "trash" instead of clicking the graphic of the trashcan. As Emily Litella would say, "Nevermind!"

lol, hey not a problem - we all need to learn some how, and I can promise you that you are probably not the first one to make that mistake.  That is what we are here for, to help you out - no matter how big or how small the problem.  Thumbs Up
