Firstly I am still a newbie so please bear with me... I hope I'm posting in the right place Confused

I logged into CPanel today but before I did, I noted there was a strange IP on the "Last logged in" bit on the small window where you put the login and passward... I traced it and it went to somewhere in India. Now there are 2 admins who can access CP and none have that IP address. I would like to know if there is a log in CP somewhere where I can see who has logged in and when. And... does LP access CP from India? Is that affiliated to LP? Confused

I am perhaps a little paranoid because one former member who was banned from our site has been making threats that he will take us down. I don't see him doing that via legal means so... Sad

Not sure where/how that might be coming from.  Just to be sure, you might contact support@lunarpages.com to see if it matches up with anybody on our side of things.  Until then, I'd say it might be a good time to change your password if you have not already done so, just to be on the safe side.  Thumbs Up

You should also scan for spyware (keystroke loggers and password sniffers) all PCs used to administratively access your site (FTP, site CP, application CP, etc.). Also scan anything on the same LAN or behind the same firewall. It may be that some hacker in India has your passwords as soon as you type them in. If you find spyware, change your passwords again after cleaning your PC.

Thank you. Have scanned everything and found nothing. Also changed passwards as recommended. I am curious though, because I have seen the LP IP pop in on the forum a couple of times a week. Is that normal? Or should I be worried Help

How do you know it was the LP IP?  I wouldn't worry too much, as it is probably a regular 'ol user checking out your site.  Thumbs Up
