I have hosted several websites with LP for many years. Most of these sites use Java Mail for sending error notifications to me. A few use it for site visitor use. A couple weeks ago, I received a report from one of my customers that their email page was no longer working. Upon further investigation, I found that none of the sites using Java Mail are working! They are all on different hosting servers (using the same mail server?) I have one site that uses PHP Mail. It works. Only the Java Mail sites are broken.

Has anyone experienced any problems with Java Mail over the past few weeks? Please let me know if you are using Java Mail and it is still working for you. That will, at least, tell me something.

The JavaMail API provides a platform-independent and protocol-independent framework to build mail and messaging applications. The JavaMail API is available as an optional package for use with Java SE platform.
