The first thing we need to do is find out what virus you have. a) do you know what virus you have? b) what is the subject of the e-mail it is sending out? c) what is the name and extension (eg. attachment.vbs) of the attachment in the e-mail being sent out?
What anti-virus software are you using, and when was it last updated? Hopefully if new enough, it will have told you the name of the virus.
Remember, many virus problems can not be sorted out if you contract the virus before using the anti-virus software. In these cases, a manual removal with a software tool (often downloadable from your anti-virus software suppliers website) is the best way.
Try to answer the above questions, and I'll see what I can do to help.
