I want to set up a secure folder, and have the server direct everything that begins with https:// to that folder. How do I do this??

I'm not sure if this is exactly what you want but:
Login and get to your cPanel
There is a link to: Web Protect
there you can password protect folders and grant access to users through a username/password set up in Web Protect.

I think collectorvilleusa meant encrypting the data using SSL.

Do you have the premium plan? SSL is only available on the premium plan.

To get your own certificate, instead of sharing the lunarpages one, I think you need to buy your own IP address aswell.

To get SSL working, e-mail support@lunarpages.com , I haven't done it before.

Yes, I have the premium plan, and we have an SSL certificate. Problem is, https:// anything generates a page not found error message.

I went to https://www.christmascollection.com/

(note the https)

and it worked.

Did you fix the problem yourself?
