How does the control panel application operate?

Is it secure communications (I don't see an 'https' when it is running ..) ?

Do I have to set up an SSL style communications on my own to prevent communications such as password set up from passing through insecure TCIP packets ??

Thanks!

):0  Nice suprise.

Is the traffic in the non https style visible along the TCIP route ??   IE,  should we all go change our passwords securely ??  :<)

Sorry to be picky,  but I get the security warning above about the site certificate.

What do you make of the warning??

Don't worry about that message, you can ignore it.

It is normal.

On the login page,  at least mine,  a choice was added

Taurus [standard]  [secure]

I hadn't noticed the [secure choice] before,  so I take it that the added convenience was added by the trusty and helpful folks at LunarPages.

I've used many secure sites.   This is the first one that has reported a certificate issue.

Hypothetical question:   If the contents of your bank account depended on that certificate being secure,  would you trust it and why?   (assuming of course it had a positive balance ;-> )

Depends on the error.
Seen plenty of cert errors.
One that usually doesn't matter is the mixed content...usually but not always.
But yeah would have a low (probably zero) tolerance for errors if it could affect me in a way like that Smile

The security warning appears because,

There is a certificate on all the servers, which is for secure.servername.com

When you login via the new control panel's secure link, it uses servername.lunarpages.com

So, you get a warning. It really doesn't matter at all, it doesn't mean that it is any less secure.

Am I the only one, or are there others who have had a hell of a time logging onto there accounts? It seems like I'm only able to log on 1 out of ten times, I keep getting repeated "Access Denied" messages.

Access denied appears if you type in the password wrong.

If your web browser stores the wrong password, you will get repeated "access denied" messages.

You can clear this in the options of Internet Explorer.

If this does not help, please e-mail us and we will fix it for you.
