Can someone help me install this on my dedicated server. I have tried over and over with the instructions found here and could not get it to work. It seems to me that mplayer is isntall but the codecs aren't coming through. Please help!

Here's what i've done so far.

1. Extract essential codecs package to the following location
/usr/local/lib/codecs/

2. Run ./configure, make, make install
