Hey guys - just a quickie.....

I know under Cpanel there was a limit of 800 emails/hour.
Is there a similar limit on a VPS?

The reason I ask is that I have a weekly "user account tidyup" script which emails everyone that hasn't logged into my game in the past 4+ weeks, gives them a reminder. If it's been longer than 7 weeks it closes their account and notifies. At the moment this is typically approx 5-600 emails, but this number will climb as the userbase does.

Thanks in anticipation.

Hello,

The 800 emails/hour limit is set only on the shared plans. You do not have this restriction on the VPS although if a massive sending affects other VPSs on the same hardware node, admins will take steps to stop it. This appears to me as something very infrequent situation.
