Hmmm... Can't seem to find an answer to this one...

I need to set up an FTP account that only goes into one directory under httpdocs.

For instance, they need to be able to update aspects of our site, but not the entire site. The directory would be something like www.website.com/weather/

Need to do this under Plesk.

Thanks!

Hi Adredd,

You can create FTP subaccounts under "FTP Management" on domain panel. During creation, you can specify the home folder of the account to restrict access for the FTP user.

I hope this helps.

Hmm... Don't see FTP management anywhere. Again, I'm using Plesk.

Logged in, went to DOMAINS, then chose the site. All I see is Anonymous FTP. That's not what I need here.

Any other ideas?

Thanks!

Hello,

I apologize, I overlooked that Linux Plesk omits this functionality. For this reason, I have gone aheand and created a HOWTO on setting up sub FTP accounts in Plesk on Linux:

Please try it and post your opinion, suggestions or questions.
