Part of this is my own screw up. I didn’t get a “chance” to upgrade PERL

So I decided to ask support if they could do the upgrade for a reasonable feel. The first request was 15 hours ago. I still haven’t gotten an answer to the original. They have responded with other issues but not answered the original question.

I know there are side issues a number of side issues. I hope to get worked out finally.

Know the past people have post here and got answers.

[edit]
It’s now upgraded. that's what I expect. Woo hoo! Clean up all my mistakes!  Applause

That’s number one on the list now I got to get working on my other issues with VPS. Some are mine some are lunars but who cares as long as I can get them fixed

Well I  did, I thought not having perl updated screwed up my emails. That is why I asked. But the real reason was a corrupted RMP database. That too has been fixed. It took some time but now my email is working and perl is updated up in running

How about a list of learning resources books etc for all of us who are just now learning about servers and VPS? Just a suggestion. It might free up some tech support time. thinks like books etc. Lunar has good resources but they don't have everything

It is not possible to cover everything, but we try to cover the most important and frequent issues and setups. Do you have any suggestions on what you would like to be completed as howtos and manuals?

As for the resources, I would recommend to read manuals to the control panel installed on the server if you have any and get a book about the OS installed on it.

I was thinking about, when someone is new to VPS and or dedicated. Have an experienced person give them "guided tour" of how things work and what things do.

This might be able to with a done instant message type set up.

this could be made an option or something.
