Hi all,

Quick question.  Looking at the php settings on a Joomla site, I noticed "save_session.path" is not configured (set to none).  Is this correct?  Shouldn't this be set to something?  This is on a VPS by the way.

Thanks for your time,
Carlos

Hello Carlos,

You can have that set to whatever you might need (usually that's "/tmp", though sometimes you might want to store those under your "/var/www/vhosts/domain.name/httpdocs" folder) by adjusting the PHP configuration file (usually under /etc/php.ini). If you'd like us to have it done for you, please drop us a ticket and we'll have it adjusted as soon as possible Smile

Thank you.

Thanks for the quick response.  I'm assuming this setting would apply to all the sites on this VPS, correct?

Yes, if /etc/php.ini is the global php configuration, unless it is customized via apache configuration for some particular site.
