I got this working in one of my other environments but I having trouble getting it to work in a new domain I setup in my VPS.

Server Side Includes.

When I setup the new domain, is specified SSI support in Plesk. I uploaded the site to the httpdocs folder and included a .htaccess file which contains the following:

AddType text/html .shtml
AddHandler server-parsed .shtml

Options +Includes
XBitHack on
RewriteEngine On
Options +FollowSymlinks

Any ideas why this doesn't work. I don't get any errors in the logs and the page is renedered partially. It just doesn't include the bits I'm trying to include like the header or footer.

Doh! 

I forgot to make the pages executable. Once I did that, SSI worked perfectly. It is because I am using the XBitHack which is the only way I have been able to get SSI to work.
