The fee for installing Ioncube Loader is $75 per hour. While most other hosting companies are offering it for free.

This is too high . Confused

Hi minnu,

The normal charge to install something would be $75 an hour regardless of what it might be. However, given ion cube is relatively easy to install, please provide where you obtained the quote (in a ticket or in chat) and we can look into this matter for changing the cost for this script for you for installing it.

Otherwise, we could simply provide directions to you to install it.  VPS is for self administering a server for the customer, and it would be relatively easy for you to install this with us providing directions to do so.  If you install it yourself using our directions, that would not cost you anything.

I have the same issue.

I was told i'll be charged $75 for installing ion cube.
and that is after i've paid $75 for migrating my database from lLP shared hosting to my upgraded VPS in LP!
it's 2 weeks after i got my 2 new domain from lunarpages, which required ioncube and zend, but still my site is not running.

it's suppose to be a simple exercise for a simple script, to my first and new VPS!
but it's getting costly and i'm almost giving up
