I was wondering if anyone had came across this problem I am currently experiencing.

I changed from business hosting to VPS and my server is live (quite impressed with the VPS set-up, it’s all rather fantastic) I registered my own name servers and then pointed the main domain to the new VPS, that’s okay everything is working well, apart from one thing.

None of the emails are working in outlook or any other POP3 program, I am able to read the email online Via the web-mail link in Cpanel, but they can’t be read Via a pop3 program on the desktop and I was therefore wondering if anyone has heard of this problem before.

Hi Darren01,

I am not familiar with it happening, however, you might want to go into http://dedicated@lunarpages.com/ where VPS and dedicated live support exists and see if we can look into this further for you.  The live support is staffed 24/7/365.

Have a Blessed Weekend

I had the same problem, so far its only been a minor irritant. I assume its because I have to change a setting. If anyone knows the answer let me know.

I can send but not download email from pop 3

Hello akchuck1960,

I would also advise you to ask for support with this issue via dedicated@lunarpages.com or helpdesk. Some private info may be required to investigate this further.

I hope this is helpful.

Having the same issue, although it's depressing to read this far down on this thread and have no solution written out, going out on a limb, but this would be a great place to have an answer to the problem

Same problem here, but not on my primary domain. It's the secondary domain that's having problems. I can't find a difference in my configurations. It would have been nice to see akchuck1960's solution. Anyone else have a clue?

oops... hadn't changed to my own nameservers for the secondary domain. All fixed now.

Hi Rapunzl,

You need to use IMAP in your email client in order to be able to check email  both using the client and web interface.
