Hello,
I'm trying to install WordPress MU on my VPS and I'm running into issues.

The installer script ran fine and my installation connects to the database...but one of the steps requires adding a DNS wildcard '*' and I'm not entirely comfortable doing this.

My domain structure is like this:
mydomain.com
added a new sub-domain - blogs.mydomain.com (installed WordPress MU here)
want new blogs to work like this - blog1.blogs.mydomain.com

Has anyone gotten this to work on a LunarPages VPS?

Any insights are appreciated,
Craig B.

Hi Craig,

To setup the wildcard domain, you need to edit the DNS zone for the subdomain and add A entry called '*' (without the quotes though) pointing to the same IP address as blogs.mydomain.com
