According to the specs this one is bretter than at least the free version of Zone A.Tried it myself but had some problems. This is probably just because i did not configure it right.Zonealarm is easier. But this one might well beat the competition.

YES the configuration can lead to problems, many of the possibly better ones I tried did not work well when first installed which I think they should. Also 3/4's of the computer population does not want to understand the "mumbo jumbo" terms needed to do the configuration. I know plain english is a little long winded, but thats what many need.
That's one of the reasons Z/A is so popular, not only does it work well but it's damn easy.

I like ZA's simplicity.  It stealthes the ports, and it's no-nonsense.  I know if a worm gets through the 'first line of defense', ZA will catch it trying to serve up my goodies (like I have some or somehing) to the waiting leech.  I mean, face it:  If "dawinbooterZen.exe" is requesting server rights, I guess I need to take a look!  I know they use much better names, but thought that sounded good
hmmm...so if I put     next to    ....eh, time for sleep!
