Email contains subject of simply "Re:" Attachment that tries to run automatically is news_doc.D.SCR but could be something different, but close.  Didn't get a chance to infect because of this

Thank's for bringing it up.
Do you know how big the security risk is between Outlook and Outlook Express?
Most people say that Outlook has better security.

Well, that depends.  If you setup Outlook correctly with the patches, it won't display anything with code in it.  Thing is, it won't display it.  Outlook's preview pane is not like Outlook Express.  If you set up Outlook Express's security settings right, it will still show the message body, but will pop up a window telling you this code or attachment is there, and that you've chosen not to run it with the option of saving it to disk.  At that point you can isolate it and scan it or whatever.  If it's embedded code, you will still see any viewable plain text in the preview pane.  If you're interested, you can save that message as an eml and scan it.  Now, Outlook may have changed, I just started using it lately (for contact management) after not having used it for years.  But, I'm not really using it for my email (except certain mail merges to small customer lists).
