Sorry for this newbie questions but I've never had anyone work on my site except me.

I'm having someone install amember, semiologic etc on my site. Do I have him full access or just create an ftp account?

Any suggestions or advice would be welcome.

Hi Alfred, how well do you know this person?  You might take that into consideration before hand.  You could create an FTP account and folder for him to upload or work on the site.  It would just make my really nervous to hand him over too much information, because for example if it was your main account info you'd need to reset that password as soon as he was done.

My thoughts were the same. I think I'll just try ftp access and see if that's enough. Problem is I think he needs to change permissions in order to install semiologic.

It should be ok but I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing something.

Thanks for the response.

Alfred
