I have trouble setting up the anonymus FTP upload capability.

Let's say my domain name is mydomain.com

I have logged in the C-Panel and used the
FTP Manager to setup the option in the

Anonymous FTP Control  to include
" Allow anonymous upload to ftp://ftp.mydomain.com/incoming/tr>  "

When I ftp to the link ftp.mydomain.com and used anonymous@mydomain.com and an email address as the password, it cannot get through. I cannot upload any file to the site. Is there anything wrong in my setting ?

Thanks

I finally make it using Cute FTP instead of using IE to do it. So It seems that the problem comes from the IE. Anyone can advise the reason?

I want to use IE for some people are not familiar with FTP Client Program that I may have difficulty to teach them uploading the data. But using IE seems to be more simple and straight forward....

Internet Explorer's FTP interface is a nightmare.

It is notorious for being slow and crashing.

It is possibly easier for beginners, especially as you don't need to install any software.

Windows comes with a dos version of ftp, which might be worth a try.

If not, try www.download.com . There are some which make ftp as easy as working on local files.
