Hello to my new lunar friends.

I just signed up last week. My main domain hosted and registered at LP  and it's email works fine so far.

I have several other domains registered at go daddy. One of those I pointed to LP as an add on domain. The site comes up OK but the email I had with go daddy stopped working. Sending a test email showed it went to the IP at Lunarpages, but no such email. (Remote host said: 550 No Such User Here Giving up on 67.210.98.70.) No big deal in this case I just created that email at LP and it works fine.

The problem is I have another domain registered at go daddy that I would like to add hosting at LP but keep 2 emails at go daddy with out interruption. (I don't want to mess with my wife's stuff).

Sorry, I don't know how to link to previous post here.

I've got that same setup with 2 of the sites we've got - it really is a good idea if you're going to count on your email and do a lot of it (multiple accounts, high traffic etc)
site 1. "A" record goes to Lunarpages - MX record is handled by webmail.us
site 2. "A" record goes to LP - MX goes to Google Apps' email service
"
Apparently it can be done if I understand this correctly. Hmm, maybe not. How do I do it?

Thanks. Ken.

I think if your domain is still registered with the other register, these setting should be editable via their domain name control panel.  I would try to contact them and see if they have a best course of action for this.

Thanks Mitch.

Sounds logical. I'll give that a try. If it don't work I will figure out a plan B or what ever.

Thanks. Ken. Smiling
