We have recently been notified that some of our customers are receiving emails letting them know that their email address will soon be disabled for spam and if they’d like to continue to input their account information. We also have seen ones stating that due to improper use, the email address will be disabled and to open an attachment for more information.

These emails are spam and have NOT originated from Lunarpages.

We highly advise:

* making sure you have up to date virus detection software installed on your local machine
* Do not open attachments from anyone you are unsure of
* Do not give out account information to anyone

Lunarpages does not send emails with attachments to customers and will not request credit card data or other account information unless specifically regarding a support issue you generated. Any credit card information requested will be the last 4 digits only. All emails from Lunarpages come from an @lunarpages.com email address and no variation thereof (lunerpages, lunar-pages, etc).  Email sent to our customers will also be posted at http://lunarforums.com for verification purposes and will contain the link to the verification thread.  Please also see the thread found here:  [this one]
