Ports 2095 & 2096 are blocked where from where I need to use LP webmail. Until recently I was able to login in using the format http://mail.mydomain.com

but as of today instead of taking me to a login screen, it shows me a generic screen of:

Note that the "http://yourdomain.com/webmail/" format doesn't work because the URL immediately forwards itself to a ":2095" format after connecting and that's blocked.

I need working webmail, with LP or elsewhere...

Although LP support initially suggested workarounds that didn't work (same behavior), recommended the use of other email clients (also wouldn't work for various reasons) and just said "you can't access webmail except on ports 2095/2096"), after I pushed back they looked harder. They managed to make a "small cpanel change" that now allows the use of webmail on port 80 at:

http://webmail.SERVER.lunarpages.com    [I'm on delta]

I haven't investigated the use of the cpanel proxy to allow the use of webmail.yourdomain.com as suggested in the knowledgebase article, as the link is working OK for me.
