free domain and Business Hosting Plan renew questions?

I bought the biennium Business Hosting Plan

To provide a free domain name

Found that the domain name is valid for one year only?

That :2009-04-10 to 2010-04-10?

Q:

1, the domain name free for one year only it?
2, after the expiry of the domain name, renew every year the price?
3, Business Hosting Plan after two years, renew every year the price?

Thanks

That looks like a Basic hosting plan from the screenshot, however let me see if I can explain for both, since that are very similar in nature.  The Basic hosting plan comes with one domain name registration which is free for a year, and the Business hosting plan comes with three free domain name registrations, that are free for one year.  After your free time is up, it will renew at the normal domain name renewal prices.  Hope that helps!

Domain registration should be free for one year, in that case.   Thumbs Up

Has this been changed recently? In response to a recent posting, I mentioned that the plan description says "free for the first term" of the hosting, and I interpreted this to mean "12 months for a 12 month plan and 24 months for a 24 month plan" (and 60 months for a 60 month plan). I was told by someone at LP (either you or Katrina?) that this was correct. Has it changed?

Add:
Here is the discussion. It was Matthew Alan (not LP staff) who confirmed it. Mitch, can you confirm that it is one year only, rather than the first term? If it's one year (12 months) regardless of the length of contract, someone had better fix the plan description pages right now.

No, has not recently been changed.  Once the "free for life" promotion ended, we introduced an offer that would make the domain name registration free for the first year.  I'll drop an e-mail to the web site team on your behalf about the wording used on the web site.  Thumbs Up
