Hey Lunar Pages,

I was searching through the forum to see if my question had been answered but I got confused about a few things, so I'd thought that it'd be best if I asked myself.

I am interesting in getting the basic hosting plan for 4.95 /month and it says it includes a free domain. I was wondering will that be for only the first year? cause i kept coming across post here saying "free domain for life" is that over?

Or will I still have the domain as long as I am a customer of Lunar Pages for free without any renewal cost?

Thanks in advance to whoever helps.

It used to be "free for life", but now the plan description says "free for the first term". So it sounds like a year for a 12 month plan, and maybe 2 years for a 24 month plan (but don't quote me on that second part -- I'm not absolutely sure). You pay the standard rate every year after that. Anyway, definitely no longer free for life.

Ah yes I must have missed that at the bottom of the information page. Thanks for the help.

I take the initial plan of half a year, and only now has become to think that the domain is not forever, stupidly. Since I just park their national domain.

I think you can keep is as long as you keep the account.

No, as Mr Phil has already said the domain is only free for the first term. The free domain for life, ended awhile back.

You can keep ownership of the name for as long as you want, but after any initial free period you have to pay for it to keep it.
