Hi. I recently switched from Dot5Hosting to hostmonster.com because of the frequent downtimes at dot5 + the excessively slow SQL server. Unfortunately, hostmonster.com just cancelled my account for overbandwidth. Ok I was using 20gb per day via a folder containing JPG files but they did say they offer 15TB monthly bandwidth (and I didnt have any problems over at Dot5)

My Question is.. am I going to get kicked out here too? =/

As for the site:
The main site is powered by Drupal 5.6 with 1097 users. Fortunately, only 5 users or so are online at the same time. I also have throttling features enabled that actively work to reduce load to the server.

On the main site, there is a Gallery2 application, and like above, there are throttling mechanisms that reduce load to the web server and is configured in a way for shared hosting environments. (Caching of images as raw files for example)

Finally, there's a myBB forum, but I dont think that's much of an issue since traffic there is very scarce.

Thank you for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I had no warnings and I just received an email in my inbox that my account was going to be deleted within 30 days. I contacted support (via live chat) but after I told them the situation, they simply "left" me. (I actually left that chat window open all night, but of course, no response)

All right - I'll be making the switch here as soon as I confirm that hostmonster has refunded my account. I shouldnt have trusted the high reviews for host monster.. but then again, it was made up of only 7 users unlike Lunarpages, which has a high rating from over 240 users.

Nope, afraid not - you can only use one coupon/offer per signup.  With the transfer deal, we can give you credit for up to 6 months of hosting, so might weigh both options and see which is the most valuable to you.
