Hello and with the best regards.

I am going to use your host as my wallpaper site, but before I buy, I want to know more about the FTP upload limit.

How much is it. I mean, for my site I need to bulk upload my wallpaper as a zip file, and some times their size are bigger than 50 MB. can I upload them via FTP or Cpanel?!

Thanks

I upload everything via cPanel, but I have uploaded 300+MB at once before. I do not believe it is a limit.

Do we have an answer for this? What is the upload limit? I'm curious as well.

I want to assign FTP accounts to my clients to upload their files, and many of them will be in excess of 1 GB.

If anyone knows, please share. Thanks.

As far as I know there is not a limit. As I stated above, I upload 300MB+ files all the time, without problems.

As for "allowing your clients to upload", if you're on shared hosting might wanna check and make sure you're not going against the AUP by offering resources to others.

Great - 300+ mb files is more than enough.

As for "offering resources to others", that's hardly what I'm doing. I run my business using my website. Part of my business is working collaboratively with my clients, which entails sharing files back and fourth. It's hardly "offering resources" to anyone. It's for me! And besides, isn't that what I pay for? And isn't the purpose of having the ability to set up multiple FTP accounts in the first place?

Or am I missing something here?

Some people try to game the system and give away (or sell) LP system resources off their shared account. Naturally, LP forbids this (it's fewer accounts that they would sell). Matthew was just concerned that this might be what you were thinking of doing. Since you said "my clients", it sounded to me like you were within the rules of running the site for your business.

I didn't see anything malicious in his statement.
