I am sorry but your support is of EXTREMELY poor quality!  I CONSTANTLY receive different answers to the same questions.  On your website, it will say one thing, I will ask support, they will say another, than a different support has yet ANOTHER answer!  The past 3 attempts to get an answer from your crap support system has rendered in something similar to this.  My last message asked simply if I could install an alternative to "Plesk" to avoid the domain license fees mostly.  Now, I would start out with plesk definitely but there would be a small chance of this, and since EVERY SINGLE OTHER VPS host I know of (!!) offers this, I was pretty certain that you would too.  Not only do I find out from your support that this is impossible (how so?!?  I am allowed root access...) but that it costs $10 per month for 10 domain names registered on Plesk!  I mean, I could live with not having this alternative, but I can't pay more than the current price for my hosting (right now at least) so this $10 per month is out of my price range.  Can somebody here PLEASE answer me with a solid answer: I am allowed free 10 domain name license, and full root access correct (meaning I should be able to install another control panel if I so wish!)?

Do you guys like tell your support that every reply MUST be advocating a more expensive solution to the problem or something?  I mean, they always say something like 'sorry you need a dedicated server for that' or 'oops looks like this option that we said was available isn't available anymore, pay us $100 more a month please'...

Hello Michael,

I am sorry you have felt that support has not been able to help you.  I have responded to your latest ticket, in hopes that I may answer some of your questions there. I will also try and shed some light on the questions you have brought up here as well.

In regards to Plesk Control panel, it is in fact free for the ten domain package,  meaning no install or monthly fee, and you can manage all your services from an easy to use panel.  As far as installing your own control panel on a VPS, it is not advised, although technically possible. With a VPS system, you are limited to 512mb of memory, and you share processor time with the other users on the server, these limitation typically do not permit the use of other control panels as they load services specific to their panels, permitting them to manage your server.  The Plesk Control Panel is different in the way that it is built to work with Virtuozzo which is the virtual environment software we use.

In short,  although it is possible to install a Control Panel other then Plesk on a VPS,  it is not recommended and would subject you to the possibility of your server becoming unresponsive or worse.

Ah okay thank you it would have been much better if support could have simply replied with an answer like that in the first place.
