Hi, Box.net is great from a user's perspective, but sucks from an administrator's. I recommended to my company that we get some proper FTP hosting. Here are some concerns:

1) We need to be able to upload all files to one root dir, but give access to certain 3rd parties to only certain dirs at certain times. I imagine this could be done with user accounts, therefore there must be an easy (read, I'm the only techie) way to add accounts and define permissions.
2) Being the only techie here, a nice box.net-like interface would be a good seller for the PTBs.

What can you offer me?

At this time, we don't allow hosting files that are unrelated to your web site on your hosting account.  So, your hosting account could be used for the occasional family photo or something like that that, but I would not use it to backup your important file or personal backups.  Hope that helps!
