I'm from Italy and with a 4Mbit download ADSL connection I raised the 260 kb/s.
Usually that kind of line raises the 520/530 kb/s.

Similar speed for a file on one of my site hosted in US.

Maybe it's because I'm in Italy, and the street is so far

i just tested with the 100MB   was running 1700KB/sec for about five seconds then slowly went down and is stable around 750 KB/sec

Eh, lots of things make a difference.

Im pulling on average for the for the 100MB file around 1.05MB/sec.

Of course I am in nevada, and dont think im to far from either datacenter.

Connection is a 10 Mbps down and 1 Mbps up.

This is on a AMD Athlon 64 3000+

My download test is 60kB7sec, but i have a 300kB/sec conexion. (I download with emule and others programs at 250-300kB/sec).

I'm from spain, in us is more high?

That is unbelievably slow.. I get like 50k/sec.. I can send with my adsl modem with 5x that speed. I was just about to sign up with your site but.. wow thats slow.. I didn't even know you could get that slow speeds from any server in the western world anymore.
Is this really the speed I would get from my site if I buy your hosting, or is this just for the particular user hosting that speed test?
Don't mean to be overly rude, but even if I had so many users that there were like 10 simultaneous downloads constantly 24/7 the monthtly advertised bandwidth wouldn't be reached for 2 months..
I live in Sweden, and I have three downloads going right now, from microsoft.com and apple.com at 400k each, and your speed test at 50k, the same if I cancel the others and only run yours.. I've tracerouted them and your site actually have the least hops.. the hops are the same in Europe and only changes when they get to the USA where you have 3 hops to your site and the others have like 5 or 6.
It's obviously your server too that doesn't give each connection enough bandwidth since a download manager with 10 connections gives me 400k/sec.
