I'm still dubbing if I need a standard hosting plan or a VPS . My site recieves around 12k uniques per day and uses around 100gb bandwith per month. Any suggestions?

You would want to try downloading each file, then your browser should tell you the speeds at which the files are being downloaded.

I averaged around 130 KB/s on an 8mb connection. Considering I can sustain 1,024 KB/s, this seem pretty slow.
