Hi all,  I am using Web CEO to help me figure out if I am optimizing my pages as much as I can.  By the way, if you haven't heard of this program I'd highly recommend it for anyone just starting out...very helpful (and free!).

Anyways, it's telling me I have none of my keywords in bold, and am not using the H1 tag.  If you look at my site, there are many keywords in bold and I named my main header style in CSS 'H1' and use it appropriately.  But I have been doing some reading and am finding something about SE spiders not recognizing CSS?

Can someone who knows something about HTML take a look at my code and tell me if I need to change something?  Am I not using H1 tags or CSS properly to rank well for my main keywords? www.fussybaby.ca

I hope this makes sense!  Thanks in advance  Smiling

Instead of using a tag attribute you should use the actual tag of h1
So instead of class ='h1' tag attribute use <h1>your heading text</h1>

Same thing for h2 h3 h4 h5 h6 tags.

wektech is right. Also your CSS has problems. First off don't use spaces in file names when it's on the web. Second, CSS understands tags, classes, and ids so something like this Green H1 is meaningless. In CSS you specify tag style like h1 {}, class style like .class123 {}, and ids like #id123 {}. You may want to read some free tutorials or but a book so that you're aware of the conventions.

Thanks a lot!  I read some tutorials on CSS/HTML which was really helpful.  Did I use the header tags correctly now?

Also, if anyone has a minute, could you give me some tips on cleaning up my code a bit?  And  before you say anything, I know that the site is table based and not css based, which is bad, but it's too late to change it right now  Smiling

I'm aware that pages should only be one word with no spaces but guess I forgot about that when naming 'Style Sheet' (I think I actually read a tutorial where it suggested naming it that?).  Anyways, I tried changing the name to stylesheet.css and changing the code accordingly but it screwed up my whole site and took several hours to fix.  Any suggestions on how to change that?

Thanks so much!
