Hello all.

Firstly i'd like to say what a great host I've found LP to be since changing from my previous host. Totally hassle free so far.

I just have a couple of questions now.

MY website is a couple of html pages but mainly the latest PHPBB 3.0.1 forum. The database for it has now reached 109mib. Is this size ok? What is my database limit on the basic hosting package?

I have about 600 registered users on my forum. The forum has a mass email feature. Will this be a problem to use? It does have a feature to send the mass email in smaller bursts if needed. Just wondered if I get wrong from yourselves for sending so many emails.

Thank you.

Your total database + files + email size can't exceed 1500 GB, so you're nowhere near that limit. However, it's recommended that you not exceed about 500 - 600 MB for a single MySQL database, as it becomes unwieldy at that size. Something like that.

Mass emailings can be a problem. You need to "throttle" your sending rate so that you don't exceed 20 emails per minute and 500 per hour. If you can set it to 8 emails per minute you should be perfectly safe.
