I have a joomla script and it runs very well on other hosting (* for example) . but when it runs on Lunarpages I alway get error .
I am sure it did not use much of resource, seem the rule of server is too difficult

That's is component "Joomla Magic updater" use to update joomla to lastest version .

Internal Server Error

The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@xxxxxxxxxx.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

=======================

Hope some one may check this type of error .

thanks

Not familiar with this particular component, however did find several results for "magic updater" error via the Joomla web site, so I would suggest combing through there, or perhaps asking the developer what might be causing the issue:

Search via Joomla's site for "magic updater error

I would look at the error logs- they are available from cPanel- and they will tell you exactly where the error was.

Was this a "500" error (internal server error)? The most common causes are:

1) blank or empty lines before the first <?php or after the last ?>, often caused by editing/modification error
2) corruption during upload in wrong mode (e.g., binary transfer instead of ASCII/TEXT)
3) wrong directory or file permissions: "world writable" (such as 777 and 666) are forbidden at LP, but specified by many canned systems. Try 755 or 644 instead.

Hi myhostingdirectory,

Like MrPhil mentioned I would definitely check the folder/file permissions. That may not be the issue in your case but in my experience that is probably the most common cause for the 500 Internal Server Error on the tickets that I see.
