Hi, all

I created a new account with Lunarpages today on a friend's recommendation because I needed to get a site up live immediately.  My account was put on Ursa.  That was about five hours ago, and Ursa has yet to be accessible.  Sent a ticket into support in case I had somehow gotten the wrong information, but, no, according to support the information is right; Ursa is just nonresponsive.

Given that this is my first experience with Lunar Pages, I feel I should ask the community--is downtime like this typical?  I can't have my sites be down for hours at a time like this.  Should I just cancel the account and go to another host?

Welcome to Lunarpages!  I wouldn't worry too much, you just had a 'bit of bad luck. We are happy to have you with us here though, and if there is ever anything we can do for you please feel free to let us know.  Thanks!

Hi, Mitch

Thanks for the response.   The server came back up not long after I posted.  I uploaded the site files overnight (lots of video content = many hours of transfer), and the site is now running well.  I'm just waiting for DNS to propagate at this point.  When it does, the site is...   http://trailersfromhell.com

Thanks again.

Hi ozu33,

I've been wit LP for a long time, so long that I forgot my password to my original username "lostchild" and can't access it now. LP has been great the whole time I have been with them and I have 2 hosting accounts with them. Staffs are great and the forum is great too with lots of people helping. Like Mitch said, you probably just had a bit of bad luck. Hope you stay Smile
