Well in my haste i wanted to rename a folder and didn't look close enough to what i was doing and accidentally renamed my Sub-Domain Folder,
I did rename it back to it's original file name but now I am getting this message:

Connection Problems
Sorry!!!! Was unable to connect to the database. This may be caused by the server being busy. Please try again later.

This has been like an hour now....Any Suggestions?

hmm are you sure you only renamed the subdomain folder and named it back?

If you named it back correctly, and the page is loading (albeit with an error) it sounds like that may be fixed, but you may have another issue.

Did you make any file changes or make any changes to the database setup?

No I didn't the most I did was refresh the page...then try to call the directory I renamed thinking I renamed the right folder.

http://thecommentzone.com/runnerx/index.php

And got that the browser could not find the domain I was calling for. Made no sense so I took a look in the file manager and that's when I saw I changed my sub-domains name and not the actual file I wanted. So I changed the domain back and went back the the page i was on which was a Forum i had installed at the time the name change and browser stuff went on and I was also logged into the forum at the time.
So I basically renamed my sub-domain thinking it was my forum directory and tried to call it in the browser. Renamed everything back to original (only sub) and went to see it in browser and got the message.
This will most definitely teach me not to rush things.

this is now the address. I left the "forum" directory alone until I get this DB thing ironed out. And the only one affected.

this is the other forum in the same sub-domain, but not affected....Different DB name.

and this is the testing forum for fixes and mod testing...This is in the main domain and also a different DB name.

Appears to be working.

Ive noticed a lot of times, if you kick smf into maintence mode, then set it back active,  when this error occurs, it will resolve
