Hi, I just noticed that folder 'manual' redirects to apache manual. I am assuming it's one of those default values, but is there are any way (perhaps using .htaccess) to point into your own 'manual' folder.
Here is more precise description:
I have folder in the root
http://www.mydomain.com/manual/. There are a number of files manual.htm, index.htm, etc. When I try to open
http://www.mydomain.com/manual/manual.htm I get 404 error. If I try to open
http://www.mydomain.com/manual/, which should point to my index.htm I get Apache manual. This works with any linux shared hosting domains at LP.
I know that the easiest way would be just to change my folder name to something else and change the links. However, I just trasferred to my hosting a website that was build 8 years ago, and person that design it, didn't really do a good job. Manual is a main menu item, and if I change the link I will have to go through all the pages and modify it.
If anyone had similar problem, please let me know the solution.
Thank you in advance.
