Hey,

I was unable to access my website on Zeus (HTTP or e-mail), Lunarforums, or Lunarpages tonight from two different computers and different ISPs. Couldn't ping any of these domains (including zeus.lunarpages.com), either. Was there a problem? I didn't see anything in the announcements...

Oh, and this was around 6:30 pm EST, I believe.  It's 8:37 pm now and it appears everything is back up and running, but I was just curious.

Thanks!

I'm glad you posted this because the exact same thing happened to me around the exact same time. Everything was down, my site, email, lunarpages.com and the forum here. All down for about an hour. Traceroutes were issuing 'No response' after the first mzima.net hop. I'm on the adhara server. Back up now though but I'm also curious.

It would appear that the issues you are referring to were caused by issues with our Los Angeles datacenter, where the Zeus server is located. This issues are currently being resolved, although it does appear that Zeus is now online. I do apologize for any inconveniences caused by this.

If you are experiencing any issues, please do not hesitate to let us know.

Best Regards,
David

My site is down too (Sargas server). The funny thing is that only my MediaWiki site is down. Other sites on my account on the same server are working. I can even access the CSS and Javascript files. Even a PHP test file. But no MediaWiki Sad

Any reason why this might be? I have made no changes to the site or the DB

For issues like this I would recommend contacting support@lunarpages.com to talk with the Lunarpages support team about this issue.  If you have any questions on how best to use these forums please see the green forum rules link in my signature.  Thanks!

Add me to the list.

I am hosted on Hellen and have been down for two days.

Lunarpages support has really proven to be virtually useless.

They told me it was my ISP despite the fact that I can load any website I can think of EXCEPT my sites hosted on Hellen and my CPanel.

After letting them know that they were wrong....and that Hellen was indeed down....now they are checking into it.

It's approaching 24 hours that it's been down....which is certainly not acceptable in my opinion.

I am very disappointed with the level of "support" given when they don't even know their own server is down.

Hammer107:  Not sure what the problem might be with your server, but when I had issues, I couldn't get to Lunarpages at all (not even these forums).  Up above, you can see that someone from LP said that they were having issues with their data center in LA.  So it seems like you and I had different problems...

Nevertheless, without seeing your website, if I try to ping or traceroute hellen.lunarpages.com or hellen.lunarservers.com, it says that the IP address is 0.0.0.1, which is odd.  I'm not a network administrator or anything, but it seems like that could be a DNS issue, possibly.  Regardless, it's obvious your server is down or not functioning properly, because I can't connect to it either.

Ibanez Player85 - Hellen is hellen.lunarmania.com
Hammer107 - I believe your issue was corrected earlier. Please let us know if you still cannot connect. BTW, FTP clients have a setting for multiple or concurrent connections in them somewhere. I use Filezilla and have mine set to 2 which seems to work just fine.
