Well, there's two canned sites, your site, a site to ease your porn surfing woes and a site that the original post has a dead link to. When you fix the link (just add .com). there are 3, yes 3 google ad blocks on the first page.

I think by canned he was referring to Tech Support and DIY Skate, both of which appear to be running scripts with modded templates.

I personally like the heatseek page for its design, for content I like blueglue.us, and for simplicity I like DIY Skate.com. I voted for Heatseek purely because that kind of layout really appeals to me, not for its content.
