Site of the week for December 27th is harmsway4kids.comJenessa is now 12, and has won several awards, and has even been on the Leno show. This site was developed in honor of her Uncle Mike who is serving in Iraq. I chose this site based on the content and the purpose of the site, rather than design/layout etc. Well done Jenessa

Neato, I like the idea, one thing I have to say that must change on the site is that the copyright must be updated and placed on all pages.

i couldn't stay the course as i found it offensively one-sided. it scares me that children are led to believe this particular war is just. when my dad was a kid, black people were depicted in comics with bones through their noses. a whole generation were fed this racist garbage and i see similarities in attitude towards the iraqi people. my apologies for being a bummer about this and mentioning politics but i felt the need to stand up. regardless, as the work of a 12 year old, i think it's an excellent design and an example of how people far less than half my age know a lot more about the internet and computing than i do great work! ps - for the record, both my brothers served in either gulf war and one has never recovered from the truma (nor his daughter, who was born deformed due to GWS.)

For me, I found it moving that a child seems to better understand and honor the sacrifice of the men and women than many older individuals that I know. Whether one believes the war to be justified or not, the site does a great job in achieving its purpose... to honor the men and women who are currently serving and provide some kind words of comfort for their children.
So, great job and keep up the good work!

Figured it out... alt-32 will give you a space... (thanks to p0tter for that one) and if you switch the font to either ms serif or ms san serif there is a space available. Seems as if some of the fonts in the charmap have the space and others don't...
