Via the most recent Lunarpages newsletter, I wanted to highlight another article I was particularly proud of. Have another guide for yo to check out, that was actually inspired by this comment on the 3 Simple Ways to Market Your Business or Web Site article. Here is the comment in question: Great Post!!  All are fantastic points but I believe what is most overlooked at times is the Customer Service. You can get a customer with your ’sale’ but keeping them coming back is done with your Customer Service. Oh and the best advertising is Word-Of-Mouth. The effort you invest into your Customer Service can easily be repaid many times over by your customers telling others about their experience at your xyz store or website. Yes, they are simple Ways to Market the Business or Web Site. The latest trends are also very much useful, Marketing is promoting the sale of a good or service we provide.I think customising our marketing to our niche of customers is very important point. It is very basic requirement.

I think if you are marketing a small business, the most important thing is to put yourself in the shoes of your prospective customers, and understand the benefits from THEIR side. Respect their time. Give them good information. And if your business depends on repeat business or good word of mouth, then be sure that you are giving them the straight scoop! While some strategies drive short term sales, they may actually be bad for your business over the longer haul.

Well said! I don't think people have problem with actually generating web traffic and promoting their business. Most people simple don't know what to do with the visitors - how to convert them into desired outcome (sale, subscription and so on...). |
