There are a lot of different social networks out there now on just about every topic. In my browser right now I even have folder dedicated to the ones I do my best to follow. Here's my list: (not really in any order)MySpace - there only 'cause a few friends are (promise!)LinkedIn - best business networking out there, love it Spock - recently invited to, hasn't tickled my fancy yet though... MyBlogLog - used to be fun, now mostly filled with people putting up ads for themselves. Facebook - have both friends and online contacts here, pretty interesting Now you might say, "Why join so many?" well with some, they serve a specific purpose. With others, it is good to get your name and "brand" out there in front of the public 'cause it might bring in a few new people to your web sites. What about you? What social networks do you enjoy or get something out of?

I am always on Facebook and occasionally on MySpace. I don't like MySpace anymore though because of all the spam. If they don't sort that problem out soon, their site is going to take a major hit.

Yeah seems like every time I login to MySpace I have about a dozen "adult entertainers" that want to be my friend.

Black hatters are taking advantage of it. There are so many free scripts out there that will let you spam the living daylight out of Myspace. I'm glad Facebook is still holding its ground.

I have yet though to find a social network that really sucks me in. For the most part I'll check 'em once or twice a day and be done with it.

Check them once or twice a day... and that's not considered sucked in? I think you are already there mate.

lol, well I do have friends in comparison that pretty much leave myspace open 24/7 - tracking it like madmen, so with that said I don't think I'm too bad yet. ...I can quit anytime I wanted to, really!

I'm on MySpace | Bebo | Facebook...... use Facebook more, mainly because all my best mates are on it. Having said that, I prefer Bebo, cause it's more eye-catching in design. I mainly use MySpace for music.

Just noticed that Pownce went public now so anybody can join. I've got an old account there but haven't really checked it in a long long time.

I'm on Facebook, though I'm not very active there. Still not quite sure what to do with it: http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=657998811I'm on LinkedIn for business purposes: http://www.linkedin.com/in/imagessenceI've got one blog I started on my site to try to help a friend, but I have NO idea what I'm doing with WordPress. http://ms-shirley.imagessence.com/ I'm waiting for my friend to get a PayPal account so I can put a Donate button on it, then I need to figure out how to promote it. I have it sort of duplicated on the WordPress site and might port it to blogger too. But now there's this WordPress upgrade I haven't a clue how to do without losing what I've got up there, including the widgets. As far as actual socializing though, it seems to me that forums are much more...sociable. Just talking, ya' know? Funny, in "real" life I'm the anitsocial type;) inez PS_forgot to mention I'm also on adholes.com

www.fubar.com - I use fubar, can you guess what the acronym stands for? which has these peculiar things called mumm's where users post different discussions. I hardly use it ever though since mainly a bunch of old zombies in their 30's use it the most. www.facebook.com - I like facebook better than myspace. Personally I think old boy Tom was about half way through the design of one of the best sites on the net and then just said screw it it's done. www.wireclub.com - It's a free chatting site with profiles and all. Not that popular. www.okcupid.com - OKcupid is a dating site. A lot of people sure use it like all the pretty girls in my town. I've recognized a bunch of people I went to high school with locally and I graduated 4 years ago.
