Hi,

I am facing an issue with connecting MySQL with PHP scripts? What might be the problem? Any help would be appreciated.  :(

Hi Elizabeth,

You will want to make sure you are using the correct connection data for the server your account is hosted on You can see more information that may be helpful at http://wiki.lunarpages.com/Connection_Settings_for_MySQL . If you are still having trouble please open a ticket with support by emailing support@lunarpages.com so that they can pull up and check your specific account.

It might be as simple as your PHP script specifying "localhost" as the location of the database server, when in fact your MySQL server is on a different machine and you need to give the name of that machine as the location (e.g., "mys340l.lunariffic.com").

If it's anything else, you'll need to give some details on what error message(s) you're getting.
