I'm trying to set up a forum that was redesigned to work with PN using the same database.

In the instructions, it states that I need to execute the sql file. It states that you can do this by using phpMyAdmin, but it doesn't give innstructions as to how this is done.

Can someone walk me through this?
Thanks

You can browse for a file when you do a query.
Browse to your sql file and thats it.

Easy peasy.

Thanks, ASK ME. I fooled around with it the other night and seen that, so I decided to take a chance, and like magic...... lol.

I was setting up a phpBB board, which was modded to work with the same database as PN. I got it set up, and everything works fine, except when you click to reply or post, some of the smilies don't show, and the page is soooooo wide.

I've checked other PN sites that have this, and their's look ok.

Hope you sole it.
Can be something with themes sometimes. A table that hasn't the width set.

Good luck and ask if you need.

Yeah, they had the path to the smiles wrong, so I corrected that, and all is ok now.

I'm still getting acclimated to all of PN's features..... I want to add some of my own links, but I think that is going to require creating a new block, which will require a php script to specify the commands, I would assume.
