I have an add-on domain to my main domain on my Windows Plan. Where and/or how do I set up ftp access permissions for this add-on domain???

Thanks.

Hi Qamar,

You can specify a username and password for FTP access under Setup icon on the domain panel.

I hope this helps.

Hi [Vlad]

Thanks for the info. I had eventually figured this out. Though I must ask, does the Windows Plan allow you to have multiple ftp accounts? Or simply the lone account info found under the Setup option?

Thanks again.

Hello,

If you are using Plesk 7.6 or newer, which you should be, you should be able to create FTP subaccounts for domain access under "FTP Management" icon. If you don't see the "Add New FTP Subaccount" icon there,  you need to correct the domain limits to allow creation of FTP subaccounts.

I hope this helps.

I'm using Plesk 7.6.1.  I do not not have a link to create FTP subaccounts on my FTP Management page.  From the domain mydomain.com page I clicked on the Limits icon in the Domain section.  This was a display only page with no options to change anything and NO rerferences to FTP anything.

My desire to is give specific people FTP access to specific folders on my site.  Can I do this?

Thank you.

I guess you access the limits page as a client or domain user. Please try to do so as Plesk administrator.

Yes, it is possible. You can assign a separate home folder for each FTP subaccount.

I hope this helps.
