« on: September 26, 2006, 06:05:05 AM »
Would this offer require renewal of existing hosting?

Oh well thank you anyway Johnny

I'll just have to pass then seeing as I've already renewed my hosting (and still haven't received access to the CoffeeCup Software)

Moddy,

Even though you're not eligible at this time for CC, you are still eligible for the 2.99 domain registrations.

I see too that you are also eligible for 1 free for Life domain registration as well.

If you want to take us up on a new domain registration, let us know at sales@lunarpages.com
If you have an existing domain that you want to transfer to Lunarpages as the registrar, send an email to hostmaster@lunarpages.com requesting a domain registrar transfer and we can assist you there.

:)

Thanks Jay, I've had to send in a reply though LOL

Oh yeh a couple more tiny questions, can I use Stratocash to pay for domain names? Would they have to be added as add-on domains or can I just set up re-direction?

sick of me yet?

Sorry for the delay, but yes absolutely.
If you send a request for what you require to the Sales Team we can take care of this for you :)

You can either park domains that you register, or set them up as add on domains.
Parked domains resolve to the primary domain content, and add on domains resolve to their own content, which would be stored in a directory on your account under /public_html (as you choose)

Let us know if you have any additional questions!

Ok well going from the reply I just received from sales, I can't purchase domains without renewing or purchasing additional hosting, so just going to continue to use my current registrar.

My apologies for time wasting  :smiling:

Hi Moddy,

Hmm. I'm not sure I understand.
I see you have recently renewed your account.  $2.99 domains are available to all customers who have 12 and 24 month plans.

You don't have to renew it today, if you want the $2.99 domain registrations to be available to you.

You can email sales and we'll register any 3 domains you want (new domain registrations only) for $2.99 each.

If you want these domains to be hosted on the same account as separate domains it may be necessary that you get add on domains enabled on your plan, but these are only $2.50/month each.

If you have any questions, or concerns let us know.

Thanks.

Well I emailed with all my account details and domain names (at the point of e-mailing I never realised about the 3 limit), let them know that you had referred me and that I wished to use stratocash to fund the purchase. I received in response that I needed to have 12 or 24 month plan, which I'm taking (due to the wording) that I would be required to renew or purchase new?

Hi Moddy,

The person who replied was stating you had to currently be on a 12 or 24 month plan to receive the discount on domain purchases. Not that you had to purchase *another* 12 or 24 month plan.

So in a nutshell, if your current hosting plan is a 12 or 24 month plan, you qualify for the $2.99 domain purchase rate.
