I've been helping out an organization overhaul their web site which is hosted elsewhere. I'm strongly considering recommending that they bring the site over here to LP if they want me to help administer it.
From the "what's in it for me?" category, what are the benefits of adding an additional hosting account? Do I catch a price break for the referral?

Are you currently a member of our affiliate plan? If so, you could get $65 per person you get to sign up with us. Then, if you needed to help them administer things, they could give you access to the information you needed. Win Win for Everybody!

I was looking at this and trying to promote for you all on a large scale. Are there any caps on how much you can earn? I know some capoff at like $500 or $1,000.00 in a month, etc.

Hi, With the affiliate program you can earn $65 to $180 per referral sent our way. Each account you refer must remain active for 30 days, during our Money Back Guarantee period. If you can bring us 50+ sales per month I suggest you drop us a line at affiliate@lunarpages.com with the details so we can discuss incentives. Hope it helps. -Marian.

Here's my situation. The new site will use WordPress as a CMS. There is an existing domain name with another registrar.
I've got a demo site set up locally but it'll take me some time to correct all the URLs after I move the site to LP. I want to make sure everything is running on the new site before I do the DNS change with the domain registrar.
I know I will get a temporary URL when I set the new account up wiht LP but I don't think it'll be able to run php pages until the DNS change is made.
I'd rather not use an "under construction" redirect. What's my best course of action?

If I just set up an additional account, how easy will it be if I want to transfer the fiscal responsibility to someone else? If I set up the account, I guess I can't sign myself up under the affiliate program I have on the original account or can only get the $35 off rather than the $50 xmas coupon. Right?

Well, as a general rule, coupons and affiliate links should not be mixed. We will sometimes give a partial commission if it is the first time they have done so, but if you want the coupon then you should sign up with the coupon, if you want the affiliate credit, then you should sign up with the affiliate link. If needed, you could contact the billing team after the purchase, and they'd be happy to help with getting any information changed over.
