I find the lunar package very interesting and am seriously considering moving 1 and creating another site on your servers.
But i do have a few questions left :

1) With some other hosts i read a few restrictions regarding bandwidth use and storage use.
For instance i have a couple swimming-movies on my site and at Glob@t for instance, the bandwidth they use may not exceed 50% of the total bandwidth. Or in some other cases, downloads may not use more then 20% of the total storage.
Are there any restrictions like these with the lunar packages ?

2) I think most of the users of lunarpages come from the United States. But are there any users from the Netherland which i could contact about their experiences with Lunarpages ?

Thanx

Martin

Hi,

The standard plan comes with 20Gb, the premium package comes with 60Gb.

You can use it all up in one day if you like, and files can be as big as you like. There are no restrictions on how you use it.

Hey!

I am from the Netherlands. Smile

The speed is okay... it's not really super-fast, especially not when you're using @Home cable (like I am), but it's a great price and I can live with the speed. Smile

Check out my forum to really find out the speed:

I can really recommend this host to you though and you can always PM me or leave a message here if you need more information.

only 157 milliseconds delay from SWEDEN to Lunarpages. That is really really fast for going half around the world.

I get less than 10 milliseconds response time from my home in Los Angeles, nothing can beat that. Smile

I am on ethernet broadband in Sweden and DSL in USA.

If you are on Cable that would explain your issue.. Cable modem response times are really awful most of the time Sad Never get Cable, get DSL Smile It is a pain playing Counter Strike on a computer with Cable Smile

I can assure you though that we are on one of the fastest multihomed network in the United States. We use multiple tier 1 providers, including NTT/Verio, Global Crossing and Genuity (now Level3)

Smile I know you're fast, Max! Smile

My ping:

I guess it's okay... Smile And really, I am not complaining about the speed.. the speed is fine.. my cable is fine too... I guess just the connection between @home NL and the super-fast network Lunarpages is on is just kinda bad.. but oh well.. nothing I can do about that. Smile

My forum, especially around 8-10 PM CET, is just running a little bit slow... but I don't care. Smile Because I know it has to come from all over the atlantic, and stuff. Smile Don't worry, I am a very satisfied customer and I am really telling all my friends about you guys. Smile (And yes, I gave this Dutch guy only positive feedback too. Razz).

Only bad thing is that the MySQL thingy, with phpMyAdmin showing all databases, is on Jupiter too.. but I'm sure you guys will fix that.

Do lunarpages has any file size limit? Can I upload a file of 200 MB or something like that?

No restriction on file size.  Space is 500MB for standard, 800 for premium, and you can buy more if you need it.
