This is probably not important to most people, but:

1) Is there a choice of control panels that can be used? (I read somewhere on the web that there is a choice possible)
2) how often is the control panel software upgraded?
3) Can I choose a different CPanel skin (bluelagoon)

There isn't a choice of control panels.

There is a choice of layouts, you can e-mail support@lunarpages.com to get the layout changed.

The control panel software is upgraded whenever a new version is available.

I am not sure if you can change the skin. In theory, it is possible. Again, support@lunarpages.com could help you out.

Soon, the current control panel will be replaced with one made by lunarpages, for lunarpages.

Is there any way to demo the new version?  How about a screenshot of the progress so far?  Feature list?  I am very eager to see how it will be, the control panel interface is a very important part of the hosting experience.
